Parish Administrator Position
Part Time, 12 Hours per week
The Hendra-Clayfield Parish is currently seeking a dedicated Parish Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the parish office and provide essential administrative support to the Priest-in-Charge and Church Wardens. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of parish activities.
About the Parish
Located in Brisbane’s inner north, the suburbs of Hendra and Clayfield lie approximately 10 km northeast of the CBD, adjacent to Ascot and Hamilton. Primarily residential, these areas also feature commercial precincts along Sandgate Road. Formerly separate entities, the parishes of Hendra and Clayfield merged on 1 January 2002 to form the unified Parish of Hendra-Clayfield.
Key Responsibilities
The Parish Administrator’s duties include, but are not limited to:
Managing hall bookings
Preparing invoices using Xero
Processing banking and bill payments
Coordinating parish council meeting agendas and minutes
Performing general administrative tasks as required
This is a part-time position of 12 hours per week to be worked over 2 days; Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8.30am – 3.00pm or 9.00am – 3:30pm. Hours and working days are negotiable.
